About Us

Great Peninsula Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to protecting the natural habitats, rural landscapes, and open spaces of the Great Peninsula region of West Puget Sound, Washington.

GPC has a 23-year track record of success working with partners to protect more than 11,500 acres of ecologically important forests, estuaries, and salmon streams. GPC aims to conserve the land and waters you love, to steward those lands in perpetuity, and to find creative ways to connect local community members with their environment.

Our work today ensures that tomorrow’s environmental decision makers still have open spaces to plan for, protect, and enjoy.
