Love Kitsap: Driving Tourism Through Collaboration and Innovation

Love Kitsap is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Kitsap County’s most dynamic voice for tourism promotion. Originally formed through the Kitsap Tourism Coalition with support from local chambers, hoteliers, Visit Bainbridge Island, Washington State Tourism, and community stakeholders. “Love Kitsap unites communities across the peninsula to elevate tourism through collaboration, creativity, and accountability.”

Our team brings 130+ years of combined expertise in tourism marketing, PR, hospitality, and event promotion—delivering initiatives that highlight Kitsap’s authentic character, strengthen its visibility, and generate meaningful visitor economic impact. We apply best practices modeled by leading DMOs. Recent work includes PBS Northwest Explorer features showcasing Bremerton’s waterfront and Bainbridge stays; the insider Secret Summer campaign; and cross-regional partnerships with Visit Seattle, Visit Portland, and Space
Needle Top Tix. We expanded the Stay Kitsap lodging platform, invested in statewide channels (Washington State Visitors’ Guide), and built signature tools like the Kitsap Exploration Guide—all designed to inspire longer, more responsible stays.
