West Sound Wildlife Shelter Summer Solstice Walk
Visit Poulsbo's FISH PARK for a family-friendly educational event. West Sound Wildlife will have 8-10 stations set up, each with a live educational ambassador and its handler. Depending on which educational animals are available that day, you could see a turkey vulture, owls, a red-tailed hawk, a peregrine falcon, a kestrel or an opossum, not to mention the natural wildlife in the park. Tours are approximately 40 minutes long and start every 15 minutes beginning at 3 PM. This is a guided tour and space is limited to 15(ish) people per tour, including children, so please reserve your place(s) early. The cost for the walk is: Adults (13 and up): $10 Kids( 5-12): $5 Tots (4 and under): Free Also, please consider bringing along a donation to help care for the educational ambassadors and the hundreds of animals we treat every year.
